GFIA publishes 2024–25 annual report

The Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA) has published its 2024–25 Annual Report, bringing together global industry perspectives on systemic risk, climate, cyber, trade, taxation, anti-money laundering, corporate governance, market conduct and ageing populations.


The digital report highlights key developments across the international insurance sector, with contributions from GFIA working group chairs and leading voices from across the world.


This edition includes two guest opinion articles: Dyogo Oliveira, President of CNseg, on climate resilience and global protection gaps, and Mathieu Langelier, Executive Director of the International Actuarial Association, on the role of actuaries in strengthening risk expertise, professional standards and global regulatory capacity.


Contributors to the 2024–25 report include a foreword by Stephen Frank (GFIA President) and articles by GFIA Working Group chairs: Angus Scorgie (systemic risk), Mathieu Langelier (International Actuarial Association), David Snyder (corporate governance and market conduct), John Huff (anti-money laundering), Suzy Zozor (taxation), Brad Smith (trade), Robert Gordon (cyber risks), Christian Pierotti (climate risks) and Sarah Hobbs (ageing society).
